    What is Impedance Audiometry?

Impedance Audiometry, also known as Tympanometry with Acoustic Reflex Testing, measures how the eardrum responds to changes in air pressure. It helps determine the mobility of the middle-ear system and evaluates whether the eardrum, ossicles, and reflex pathways are functioning properly.

At Adro Hearing Aid Centre, this test is essential for diagnosing conditions such as fluid behind the eardrum, Eustachian tube dysfunction, ossicular stiffness, perforations, and various middle-ear pathologies with high accuracy.
